Service Contracts
Ionflight offers comprehensive service contracts for your ICP-MS. We provide several options to meet diverse client requirements and budgets. All contracts include exceptional technical support, accessible via telephone and remote access using TeamViewer. If on-site service is required, we will promptly dispatch the first available engineer along with the necessary parts identified by our technical support team to ensure minimal downtime.
We offer a genuine on-site response guarantee. Upon completion of repairs, you will receive a Performance Report demonstrating the proper performance of your instrument, which will correlate with the pre-contract data collected by Ionflight. All our contracts except for the Technical Support Contract, include a preventative maintenance visit, as routine cleaning and recalibration of your instrument are essential. These visits are often neglected or not executed correctly, leading to potential downtime from issues developing over time. At Ionflight, we proactively schedule and perform these maintenance visits in a timely manner, and the cost of the contract includes the PM kit.

In today's ICPMS landscape, instruments are frequently perceived as black boxes, with operational intricacies largely concealed from the user. The process of generating results is rarely questioned—when a quality control (QC) check fails, the prevailing practice is to rerun the analysis. If repeated attempts do not resolve the issue, the next step is typically to contact service support. This approach often limits users' understanding of the instrument and its output.
Ionflight's Training Approach
At Ionflight, our training philosophy is to move beyond simply teaching users to operate the instrument at a surface level. We do not believe in training users to be mere "button pushers." Instead, our courses are specifically tailored to match the abilities and needs of each individual user. The objective is to provide participants with comprehensive, end-to-end knowledge of both the external and internal workings of their ICPMS instrument.
Key Features of the Training Program
Training Details
Ionflight offers two-day training sessions conducted at the customer's location, focusing on real-world applications and hands-on learning with the user's own ICPMS instrument. The overarching goal is not just to teach users how to operate an ICPMS, but to empower them to understand and utilize their specific instrument to its fullest potential.
