Technical Support
Good technical support saves you both time and money, so is an essential step when dealing with service-related issues.
Technical Support is provided free of charge during the hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm EST, Monday through Friday. We will be able to answer your service-related technical questions and give you sound advice.
On-Site Service
Should the Technical Support process not resolve your issue, an on-site service visit will be conducted by one of our instrument experts. Whether you're domestic or an international customer, our service will be provided in a prompt and professional manner using warrantied parts.
Bench Repair
If our technical support team can locate the fault to a specific component then our bench repair service is a great, cost-effective way to get you back up and running. Your part will be diagnosed, repaired, and upgraded (should that be necessary). Our workshop is fully equipped to soak test all of the parts that are processed through it.
Training
We provide on-site basic operator training, applications training, or more in-depth technical training.
Service Contracts
Ionflight offers service contracts for your ICP-MS. We have several variants available to accommodate our clients' needs and budgets. All contracts come with unparalleled technical support available via the telephone and remote access. Should there be a need for on-site service, we will dispatch the first available engineer along with the parts that our technical support staff has deemed necessary to get you back up and running in the shortest amount of time. We provide a real on-site response guarantee! Once your instrument has been repaired, you will be presented test data showing its proper performance and that will correlate with the pre-contract data that Ionflight collects. A preventative maintenance visit is covered in most of our contracts because your instrument does require routine cleaning and re-calibration. These visits are too often overlooked, and at times not completed properly. This can lead to further downtime because problems that manifest themselves over time cannot be identified and dealt with. At Ionflight we are proactive in scheduling and performing these visits in a timely manner and we include the PM kit in the cost of the contract.
